+ Are there suites available?
The Moody Rentals is now fully leased. Join our waitlist to receive updates when suites become available.
+ How many suites are there?
There 142 suites on six floors, consisting of one bedroom, two bedroom, Urban 2 (one-bedroom + flex room), Urban 3 (two-bedroom + flex room) and three bedroom units. There are also two levels of parking.
+ Are there any amenities at The Moody Rentals?
This rental building has an indoor common space with kitchenette, TV and workspaces; outdoor BBQ area; outdoor play area; as well as conveniences such as a secure bicycle storage room; electric car-charging stations; and onsite Modo car sharing.
+ How much will the suites be renting for?
As suites become available, you will receive updates on the unit type and rental rate.
+ How big are the suites?
Urban 2's range from 632-644 sq. ft. Two bedrooms range from 853-929 sq. ft. Urban 3's range from 742-777 sq. ft. Three bedrooms range from 742-803 sq. ft.
+ Do you allow pets?
You bet we do! We do reserve the right to limit the type and number of pets per suite. Pets require the written permission from The Moody property management. We also require a pet security deposit of one half of a month’s rent.
+ What utilities can I expect to pay?
Tenants are responsible for paying for electricity through BC Hydro, as well and hot and cold water consumption through Enerpro, a third party monitoring and billing service who will invoice you based on metered consumption.
+ Is parking or storage available to rent?
Yes. Parking stalls in our secure, two-level underground garage and storage lockers are available for an additional monthly fee.
+ Do you have charging stations for electric vehicles?
Yes. There are four EV charging stations ready to go, with many more ready to be installed based on demand. Energy usage will be managed through an app connected to the charger.
+ Is there a place to store bicycles?
Yes. There is a secure bicycle storage room free for residents' use.
+ Is there in-suite laundry?
Yes. All suites at The Moody Rentals are equipped with full size in-suite washers and dryers.
+ How long is the lease for?
All suites are rented on a minimum one-year fixed lease. After the year is up, the lease continues on a month-to-month basis.
+ Can I have a BBQ on my patio or deck?
Electric and propane BBQs are permitted, with the written permission of The Moody property management. Charcoal BBQs are not permitted.
+ Can I smoke in my suite or on the property?
Smoking or vaping of any kind is prohibited on the patios, decks, in suites, in the building and anywhere on the property.
+ How do I pay for my rent?
Rent is collected through a Preauthorized Debit (PAD) system. This eliminates the need to exchange paper cheques or cash.
+ Can I rent my apartment on vacation-rental websites such as Airbnb?
We do not permit tenants to sublet suites through vacation-rental websites such as Airbnb.
+ How far is The Moody from public transit?
The Moody Centre Station, with service by SkyTrain and West Coast Express to downtown Vancouver, is a 10-minute walk from The Moody. Inlet Centre Station, with SkyTrain access only, is an eight-minute walk. There are also bus routes along St. Johns.
+ Who owns and manages The Moody Rentals?
